To further advance the development of the industrial workforce and comprehensively improve employees’ professional welding expertise, technical skills and innovative practical capabilities, the Industrial Worker Skills Development Promotion Center under the Trade Union of China Academy of Building Research, in conjunction with the Trade Union of Beijing Institute of Construction Mechanization Co.,Ltd., organized a special vocational skills training program for welders on June 27. More than 20 staff members responsible for quality control, welding and other relevant work from various departments participated in the training.
This training constitutes a key initiative to implement the relevant work requirements issued by the Industrial Worker Skills Development Promotion Center under the Trade Union of China Academy of Building Research. Centered on the theme of "Refine Welding Craftsmanship, Consolidate the Foundation of Quality", the training instructors were stationed on-site in advance to review previous welder training sessions, collect difficulties and suggestions raised by trainees, and tailor targeted courses covering welding theories, defect analysis and standardized practical operations. The program delivered systematic training to upgrade welding proficiency, while simultaneously enhancing employees’ awareness of quality and hands-on capabilities. It aims to strengthen employees’ comprehensive professional competence and foster the craftsmanship spirit.
The training adopted a model of targeted teaching combined with practical assessment. To address weak proficiency in complex processes, it reinforced capabilities through theoretical review and focused tackling of difficult points. Participants delved deeply into knowledge, practiced diligently and raised questions actively. Instructors broke down key points in detail, corrected mistakes and answered questions on site. The training successfully achieved all established teaching objectives.
Going forward, we will further deepen the development of its industrial workforce and build a regular skill improvement platform featuring "integrated training and practice". Regular skill drills will be carried out to hone craftsmanship capabilities, steadily expand the team of professional welding personnel with superb skills and a strong sense of responsibility, and lay a solid talent foundation for quality improvement, efficiency gains and long-term high-quality development of the company’s products.
