Our company’s labor union held the 2023 Forklift Skills Competition on September 21.

In order to build a knowledge-based, skilled and innovative workforce, vigorously inspire employees to work gloriously and entrepreneurial spirit, cultivate a work attitude of excellence and pursuit of safety and efficiency, and improve the safety management level and job skills of forklift employees, our company’s labor union held the 2023 Forklift Skills Competition on September 21 in Langfang factory.

A total of 28 forklift drivers from four subsidiaries participated in this skills competition.
The competition is divided into two parts: written test and practical test. The written examination focuses on examining the basic structure, basic working principles, safety technical requirements, types and prevention of forklift injury accidents, etc.
Most of the contestants passed the written examination, which shows that everyone has a solid theoretical foundation.
The practical competition has three events, namely threading a needle, forklift shooting, and stacking arhats, which mainly examine the contestants’ forklift safe driving level and loading and unloading efficiency.
The referee gave the order and the game started. The contestants held their breath and concentrated on completing each action accurately and carefully according to the prescribed route. They skillfully reversed and turned, picked up and hung materials quickly and accurately, and demonstrated their smooth forklift driving skills, which won the praise of the audience and judges.

After more than 2 hours of operation competition, the first, second and third prizes were finally awarded according to the total score.
Yan Jianhua, deputy director of the Trade Union Office of CABR, Lu Zhengang, chairman and Wu Zhen, vice president of the trade union of BICM, and Zhao Hongxue, vice president of CABR/I, presented certificates of honor and prizes to the contestants respectively.

It is an old tradition of the company to use competition activities as a carrier to improve employee skills.
After years of development, the company’s forklift skills competition has formed competition standards that combine professional skill standards and the actual work of company forklift workers.
The competition plan is adjusted based on the actual needs of the work, with special emphasis on operational skills and improvement of problems in actual transportation to avoid safety accidents at work. It is an important platform to improve the skill level of employees.
Through the skills competition, participating team members “compare” their superior skills, improve their shortcomings, and strive for the first class, providing a solid guarantee for the company to build a front-line production team with excellent technology, the courage to endure hardship, and the courage to fight tough battles.
